The inspiration for Anchors Bend comes from a return to traditional seaside communities. Large front porches with rocking chairs line the streets as neighbors speak to each other, passing by on neatly landscaped walkways. Our inspiration is drawn from the enduring architecture typical of historic Southeastern Coast that invites pedestrian life with ample shade, cool breezes, and rocking chair sessions from days gone by.
